Calendar Descriptions:

January: LMS Class 4-6-0 46100 ‘Royal Scot’ powering along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway between Goathland and Levisham. Captured by Jon Irwin from Northern.

February: LNER Class A4 4-6-2 60007 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ working into York station before taking its tour back down to London Kings Cross. Captured by Robert Batty.

March: Freightliner Class 59 59201 ‘Westbury PSB 1984-2024’ passing Barnham Fields travelling from Crawley Foster Yeoman to Merehead Quarry. Captured by Blake Willimott.

April: GWR Class 150 Sprinter 150238 travelling into Carbis Bay in St Ives. Captured by Olivia Hiscox.

May: Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 73082 ‘Camelot’ approaching Horsted Keynes on the Bluebell Railway in Sussex. Captured by Andrew Jarvis from GTR.

June: Railway Benefit Fund hosted their Charity Charter ‘Bucket and Spade’ on June 5th 2024. Hauled by Locomotive Services Limited’s BR Class 40 D213 ‘Andania’ at York station. Captured by Peter Evans.

July: GWR Class 7800 4-6-0 7827 ‘Lydham Manor’ climbing past Goodrington Sands on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Captured by Robert Sherwood.

August: Cross Country Class 220 220033 Voyager, near Teignmouth station arriving from Dawlish. Captured by Zsolt Goldman.

September: LNER Class A3 60103 4-6-2 ‘Flying Scotsman’ on Skerne Bridge in Darlington which came into use on the opening day of the Stockton & Darlington Railway on the 27th September 1825. The bridge is the oldest, continuously used railway bridge in the world. Captured by Andrew Wallace.

October: ScotRail Inter7City BR Class 43 HST set crossing the Forth Bridge, formed of 43146 & 43144 travelling from Edinburgh Waverley to Aberdeen. Captured by Daniel Wyatt.

November: DRS Class 37 fleet from left to right known as; 37407 ‘Blackpool Tower’, 37419 ‘Carl Haviland’, 37425 ‘Concrete Bob’, 37422 ‘Victorious’ and unnamed 37716 at Holgate, York. Captured by Ben Wheeler from Network Rail.

December: Class 800 Azuma 800101 in the snow at Aberdeen Clayhills Carriage Maintenance Depot, undergoing a daily fitness to run exam. Captured by Caleb Keogh from LNER.
