Modern Railways has partnered with Avanti West Coast to give twenty of its readers the chance to be part of history.
On Wednesday 7 May, the west coast operator, with the support of Network Rail and industry partners will look to beat the record for the fastest time for a passenger train between London Euston and Glasgow Central.
To be part of this marquee Railway 200 event you will need to make your way to London Euston for no later than 0930 on the day of the attempt. Seats will be in Standard Class, with complimentary food and drink served on the journey north.
Return travel is available to Preston, Crewe and London Euston on the day, after an hour in Glasgow.
A donation of £125 per ticket will go to Railway Benefit Fund. A charity which provides support to current, former and retired railway people and their families across the UK.
